The Global Wine Map is a free interactive atlas covering nearly 800 wine appellations across 18 countries. Each region includes notes on history, climate, soil, grapes, and wine styles, with around 9,500 vineyards plotted on the maps.
It’s a useful study tool. Three different quiz engines let you test your knowledge of geography and regional details, and the site is installable as an app on desktop, iOS, or Android, so it works offline once you’ve added it. There’s no registration, no ads, and no cost.
Recommended for anyone studying wine regions for WSET, sommelier exams, or just to deepen their knowledge.
