Course details: $350 a 4-week, 5 module online learning programme
The course will be based around a 4-week, 5 module online learning programme with an online WSET educator support available for this time.
It is a self –study programme and Live Webinars are not available during that course.

Course structure:
Module 1: What is Wine & How is it Made?
Module 2: Types & Styles of Wine
Module 3: Grape Varieties & Wines
Module 4: Storage & Service of Wines
Module 5: Revision
It is recommended to follow the course modules in order, but you are free to complete the modules at your own pace during this 4- week window.
The course material should take about 6 hours in total to complete, plus revision time.
You will have access to online study materials for 12 months after starting the course.
Regular access and participation in the course online activities is essential for this mode of study.
All students are guided by a WSET educator and can contact the educator any time for the duration of the scheduled course, if they have any questions.
A minimum of three hours study per week is recommended to successfully complete the course and regular participation is essential.
Tasting is also an important part of this course, and you will need to taste a minimum of six wines (NOT provided as part of the cost, but you will be given guidance on the styles to taste).
You will find a list of recommended wines inside of your online class. Any additional wines can be found in the Specification. You can post your tasting notes online and get feedback from the online educator.

To book the course you must fill in or email us a Booking form to bookings@tsws-wine.com and make a payment at least 2 weeks before the start of the course. We will send payment details after receiving the booking form.
Exam
This course is examined with a 45 minute multiple choice questions paper consisting of 30 questions. The pass mark is 70% . All exams must be taken within 12 months of completing the course.
This course now comes with the ability to sit your examination online, so you don’t need to wait or travel to complete your qualification. More details on how online examinations work will be shared with you once you enroll.
You can also take the exam in person in Toronto. You must request the exam dates before you sign up for the course, otherwise, you will need to take the exam online.
Technology requirements: To use the Online Classroom, we recommend that you use a laptop or desktop device and have a reliable internet connection. To sit your examination online you will also need one additional smart device such as a smartphone or tablet
