The course will be based around a 2-week programme with TSWS educator support available for this time. Each LIVE webinar will take 3 hrs.
Course structure:
Module 1: What is Wine & How is it Made?
Module 2: Types & Styles of Wine
Module 3: Grape Varieties & Wines
Module 4: Storage & Service of Wines
Module 5: Revision
You will have access to revision practice materials provided by TSWS.
The course material should take about 6 hours in total to complete, plus revision time.
The course prepares the student for our qualification and they are guided by a TSWS educator and can contact the educator any time for the duration of the scheduled course, if they have any questions.
Students should taste a range of wines during their studies. A list of recommended tasting samples can be found in the specification.

Book the course:
To book the course you must fill in or email us a booking form to bookings@tsws-wine.com and make a payment at least 2 weeks before the start of the course. We will send payment details after receiving the booking form.
Exam
This course is examined with a 45 minute multiple choice questions paper consisting of 30 questions. The pass mark is 70% . All exams must be taken within 12 months of completing the course.
This course now comes with the ability to sit your examination online, so you don’t need to wait or travel to complete your qualification. More details on how online examinations work will be shared with you once you enroll.
You can also take the exam in person in Toronto. You must request the exam dates before you sign up for the course, otherwise, you will need to take the exam online.
Technology requirements: To use the Online Classroom, we recommend that you use a laptop or desktop device and have a reliable internet connection. To sit your examination online you will also need one additional smart device such as a smartphone or tablet
